THE REUNION by Fred Uhlman

   The Reunion tells the story of two boys’ friendship-Hans & Konradin- in the Germany of 1933, when Hitler took power. Hans is a middle-class Jewish and Konradin an aristocrat.

   I’d like to highlight that  very usual things in nowadays teenagers’ lives happen,  mixed with the differences of classes and race problems of that time. Also, it’s interesting the friendship value that involved the entire plot. It’s an enjoyable story, although I think it’s too descriptive.

   After finishing it, you’ll understand  why  the book’s title and how important a good friendship could become.
